Genealogy 101 - Overview of Genealogical Methods In-Person

The Mashpee Public Library is excited to welcome David Martin of the Cape Cod Genealogical Society for a six-part Genealogy 101 course. Topics include “Overview of Genealogical Methods,” “Immigration and Migration,” “The Census,” “Land and Probate Records,” “DNA for Genealogists,” and “Case Studies: Breaking Through ‘Brick Walls.’”

The course will be held on the following dates: April 22, April 29, May 6, May 27, June 3, and June 24. All sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 2:00pm to 3:30pm in the Mashpee Public Library Conference Room.

This course is open to registrants only, with a limit of 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ensure you are available for all six sessions before registering. Registering for the first session enrolls you in all six sessions. A waitlist will be available once the course reaches capacity.
